The Rutland Hotel was delighted to host some of the drivers of this year’s Gumball 3000 rally as it made its first ever appearance in Edinburgh!
To make sure the drivers felt at home, we supplied a hamper full of Scottish favourites including homemade tablet and shortbread, Edinburgh Gin and Pig’s Nose whisky miniatures and some ‘See You Jimmy’ hats. Gumball veteran Josh Cartu and his brother looked suitably dashing sporting their new attire while enjoying a few drinks in our bar, The Huxley.
On the Saturday, all the drivers lined their impressive vehicles up outside the hotel and my what a sight to be seen it was! Music, face painters and balloon modellers completed the scene creating a memorable day for young and old alike.
